Square-Enix has recently revealed the 5th playable character in Final Fantasy XII. The rather cheerful and energetic Pannelo likes to dance and sing. Apparently, she is also the girlfriend of the protagonist, Vaan. Besides Pannelo, the other characters that are confirmed to be playable are: Vaan, Ashe, Balflear and Fran.

It is revealed that Square-Enix will in fact show FFVII:AC on display at this year’s E3 in Los Angeles. Final Fantasy FFVII: Advent Children will be released in summer 2004 in Japan, though no confirmed word of a US release as of now. However, character designer Tetsuya Nomura wouldn’t comment or reveal on the exact form of the CG movie’s presentation at E3. Rest assured, we are all hoping for a North American release of the DVD movie in the near future.
 

The website GameTrailers has updated their site with a brand new trailer for the upcoming title, Final Fantasy XII. You can download the trailer here as it is for both Quicktime and Windows Media player formats. However, there seems to be more gameplay shown in the FFXII trailers past and present compared to other FF games, it is a possibility that FFXII might be less FMV-heavy as previous titles in the series. FFXII is due out this summer in Japan.
