Nobuo Uematsu leaves
Square-Enix
|
November 5, 2004 |
|
In yet another high-profile
resignation, Nobuo Uematsu will begin a career as a freelance composer,
leaving Square-Enix after many years working on music for the Final Fantasy
series. There is still a possibility that he will work with Square-Enix
in the future, though it is largely unknown. After many years on the FF
series, Uematsu will be missed in the RPG world as a wonderful composer.
But who knows? Maybe he will continue to do odd projects for various RPGs
in the future.

Recently, Square-Enix
has announced new details regarding Final Fantasy III on the Nintendo

the top as it utilizes the split screen system. The graphics will be about
the same as FFI and II on the Game Boy Advance. However, there currently
is no set release date in Japan and whenever the game is released in North
America, it will mark the first time that Final Fantasy III has made it
overseas. The original game was released on the Famicom in Japan in 1990
and never made it to North America.
