FFVII: Advent Children
limited edition details (Japanese version)
|
June 12, 2005 |
|
It appears that some
limited edition extras have been revealed in regards to the Japanese release
of FFVII: Advent Children. In addition to the actual movie, there is also
word of an ultimate edition as well. The limited edition box set is obviously
scheduled to ship in limited supplies and thus, once they run out of them,
only the regular version of AC will be available to consumers. The limited
DVD includes a special bonus DVD which shows footage of the original Final
Fantasy VII, the Advent Children trailer and the trailer for the compilation
of Final Fantasy VII. Both the regular and limited editions retail in
Japan for 4,500 Yen. However, the ultimate box set includes what is found
in the limited DVD plus the follow extras:
Cap and T-shirt
International version of FFVII
Key chain
A “Making of” video
Cloud motorcycle action figure set
And a couple of other unknown goodies as well. This ultimate box set will
retail for about $340 CDN dollars or 29,500 Yen in Japan. The odds are
probably very slim that Square will release any special editions or box
sets in the North American version of FFVII: AC as of now.

E3 2005: Where is
FFXII?
|
May 21, 2005 |
|

Fans left wondering about any new details on FFXII will be disappointed
to know that the game will not be shown in playable form at E3 but instead,
Square-Enix only showed video footage. Unfortunately, no real concrete
release date has been set for FFXII yet. However, the game is scheduled
to come out during the fiscal year of 2006 in North America. As for Japan,
it’s safe to assume that it will see release at the end of 2005. We’ll
just have to wait even longer for FFXII now.
