     She is the main character of FFX-2 and has apparently become a Sphere hunter, ditching the high-summoner look. Yuna is pretty much the same person in FFX-2 as she was in FFX, though she is a bit more loose and decisive. Though, she does lack leadership qualities. She still holds deep feelings for Tidus and obviously hasn’t forgotten about him. She strives to restore Spira back to peace again in FFX-2.

Rikku

     She remains the same in FFX-2. She begins the game as a thief again like in FFX and is loud and talkative as usual. Along with Yuna, she is part of the Sphere hunter group, the Gullwings. Rikku is full of energy, though she seems to take most things not very seriously at all. She remains a good friend of Yuna’s and is willing to help bring Spira back to a peaceful road again.

Paine

     A more darker character, in sharp contrast to Rikku and Yuna. She wields a heavy sword and she has a relatively mysterious past. After Sin attacked her home, she became an orphan and soon developed her fighting skills throughout that time span. She usually cares more about the mission than anything else and keeps most thoughts and feelings to herself only.

 

Nooj

     He is the leader of the Youth League, who is a rival faction against the New Yevon group of Spira. He was once a member of the Crimson squad but lost his leg and arm to Sin. He now has an artificial arm and leg and walks with a slight limp. Nooj has a past connection with Paine and Le Blanc, though it isn’t really revealed what it really is.

Baralai

     Praetor of New Yevon. As a newly elected official to the order of Yevon, he has a lot of respect and he takes a rather conservative approach to things. He is also a past member of the Crimson squad and has a connection with Nooj and Paine in regards to their past. Rather soft-spoken, he tries to take the most peaceful approach whenever possible.

 

Gippal

     Leader of the Al Bhed machine faction in Spira. Their purpose is to excavate old Machina and research the development of machina weapons. He is a cocky person and takes a very laid-back approach to things. Apparently, he knows Rikku and it is unknown as to where their connection lies.

LeBlanc Syndicate

     Group of Sphere hunters in Spira who are rivals to the Gullwings. They appear fairly frequently throughout the game and consist of their leader, LeBlanc and her sidekicks, Ormi and Logos. Not much is known about them, though Logos and Ormi share a similar past together.
