Bio

About (No Spoilers)

     Relm is a young girl who lives in the town of Thamasa with Strago, her grandfather and it is unknown what happened to her parents.  While she does look innocent, she also can get into some trouble and has quite a mouth sometimes as well.  Relm is nevertheless, a girl who longs for adventure and loves to tag along with Strago, even if she has to disobey her grandfather’s orders.  She plays merely a minor role in the game however.

Major Relations

     Besides Strago, Relm doesn’t have any major relations with any of the other characters except for Interceptor and Shadow.  Relm does share a unique friendship with Interceptor and she makes friends with Shadow as a result.  However, besides this, she doesn’t really have any other major friends to make note of as she is quite an independent person overall.

Character Developments (Spoilers)

     Throughout the game, Relm is fairly lonely until she meets up with Interceptor, who is Shadow’s dog and they manage to be good friends.  This bond is quite interesting as Interceptor is normally viscous and Relm is the only human that seems able enough to tame him.  As for Relm’s parents, it is unknown about their whereabouts and it appears that they have perished some time ago but Relm is still content living in Thamasa with Strago.  While she merely joins up for the sense of adventure, she provides comedy relief in the game and has some interesting skills too.

Review

     With her “Sketch” command, Relm is a unique character to use in battle and her magic power is decent as well.  However, don’t expect much out of her in battle as she is a weak attacker and she is one of the more weaker characters in the game.  Still, she proves to be a reasonable character once you get to understand her “Sketch” command better.  Throughout the game, she remains a minor character but she is an innocent young girl, full of ambition and adventure.

Weapons/Armor

     Relm can equip paintbrushes and rods in terms of weapons and some other odd ones too.  While she is a weak character in terms of physical attack, she does have some interesting skills to take note of, such as the “sketch” ability.  Her magic power is pretty good as well and she can equip light armor for the most part and robes like Strago.
