     Cait Sith, while trustful when you first encounter him, is actually quite an unreliable character.  He is a strong character in battles but he lacks determination and emotion but is nevertheless, a weird and interesting character.  Clumsy, Cait Sith seems more suited for comedy relief rather than anything else.

Major Relations

     Since Cait Sith is a Shinra spy, he has strong ties with most of the members of the Shinra Corporation as well as the Turks too.  Cait Sith is really a cat who brought back a stuffed toy mog to life and he is controlled by Reeve of Shinra throughout most of the game.  Other than this, Cait Sith doesn’t have relations with anyone else as he has no family to look forward to and he is strongly influenced by Shinra for most of the game.

Character Developments (Spoilers)

     His fortune-telling skills are mediocre at best and aren’t very reliable when you first encounter him.  Later on, it is revealed that Cait Sith was actually a Shinra spy used to spy on Cloud and the others and the others see him as a traitor and they have a hard time forgiving him for what he has done.  However, Cait Sith later on proves his determination and heart by becoming a loyal ally and turning his back on Shinra when it counts the most.

Review

     As a decent physical fighter, Cait Sith can be helpful in battle during certain situations although it’s best that you don’t overuse him or rely on him too much as a primary attacker.  Also, while his limits are decent, they aren’t exactly the best and they rely on luck sometimes to determine the outcome.  Cait Sith is quite an unreliable character until much later on in the game but nevertheless, he’s best used for comedy relief.

Weapons/Armor

     While it may seem that Cait Sith seems like a clumsy and weak character into battle, his physical attack is considered fairly strong.  He can only equip Megaphones as weapons and he appears to be weak in defense and spirit but nevertheless, he can equip armor like the others.

     Cait Sith only has 2 levels of Limit Breaks and his 2^nd Limit Break relies heavily on luck and chance to determine the outcome.  Sometimes it will definitely help your party but otherwise, it can be fatal.  For the most part, they are decent and while not entirely strong, they aren’t that weak either.  But you shouldn’t rely on them too heavily however but they manage to do decent damage to an enemy or boss.
