     As Cloud’s childhood friend, Tifa obviously cares a lot about Cloud and she supports him, even through his darkest days.  She is reunited with Cloud in the beginning of the game and the two are constantly together for the most part throughout the game.  Still, she plays an important role in the game as a member of AVALANCHE.

Major Relations

     Tifa has strong connections with AVALANCHE in the early parts of the game but later on, it is apparent that she cares for Cloud most of all.  As both of them are childhood friends back in Nibelheim, they obviously care for each other.  Finally, Tifa seems to have a connection with a guy called Zack, who Cloud eventually learns about later on in the game.  Other than this, Tifa doesn’t have strong relations with any other people though.

Character Developments (Spoilers)

     After reuniting with Cloud, her childhood friend, Tifa along with the members of AVALANCHE soon get caught up in a struggle between themselves, Shinra as well as the legendary Sephiroth, who was Cloud’s ex-idol.  Later on, Tifa will help Cloud through an identity-crisis and she sticks by Cloud no matter what happens to him, proving that she is a kind-hearted and loyal friend that can easily be trusted.  Still, she does manage to have strong feelings for Cloud and gets caught up in a love triangle between herself, Cloud and Aeris.

Review

     As Cloud’s long-time friend and main love interest, it appears that Tifa may seem like a fragile character but in battle, she is good to use and her Limit Breaks improve as her Break level increases.  Well, some gamers are attracted to her, without a doubt but it depends on your tastes really though.  Tifa is an important character throughout the game and she helps Cloud through tough times.

Weapons/Armor

     Tifa uses her fists to fight and she can only equip gloves and claws as weapons and she can also equip armor as usual.  She is still a decent all-around fighter and her Limit Breaks are not that bad either.  Just don’t expect her to be a really strong character like Cloud though.

     Tifa’s Limit Breaks, unlike others are in sequences and she can do consecutive Limit Break attacks, depending on what level you set her Limit Break at.  While most of her attacks aren’t too powerful, once you learn her final Limit Breaks then she is good for chaining up a series of decent strength Limit attacks.  But early on, her Limit Break attacks are fairly weak.
