     Yuffie is a teenage Ninja who is a very sneaky thief and causes a lot of problems for the rest of the party.  She joins AVALANCHE and the others as a way of getting a hold of materia and she isn’t very trustworthy.  Yuffie is quite a selfish character as well.

Major Relations

     As a descendant of a traditional Ninja clan in the village of Wutai,  Yuffie has strong ties with many of the people of Wutai and she also has good relations with her father, Lord Godo.  Other than this, she doesn’t really have many relations with the other characters in the game and she becomes quite a nuisance to the others.

Character Developments (Spoilers)

     Yuffie is a selfish and not really a well-trusted character as she later on steals Materia from the others.  She is also a descendant of a traditional Ninja clan in the village of Wutai and she is a very sneaky character.  Yuffie is quite an annoying character and she is quite greedy and full of ambition throughout most of the game.

Review

     As an annoying and frustrating character to be around with, Yuffie is quite mischievous and selfish character.  She is also full of greed and ambition although in battle, her “throw” command could prove to be fairly useful.  I didn’t like her personality wise although most of her weapons have good material growth so she is a decent magic user.  Yuffie is a decent character but she doesn’t have that big of a reason to join the others on their quest though.

Weapons/Armor

     Yuffie can only equip stuff like stars and other Ninja type weapons and she can wield long-range weapons for the most part.  Also, she can equip armor and while she isn’t quite a powerful character, she is decent in strength and she is good in the back row.

     While most of her limit breaks are quite weak and not that useful, they are still worth using in certain situations.  Her limits are quite varied and they are quite unique sometimes as well.  But really, Yuffie is better of as a materia user rather than strictly a powerful character like Cid or Red XIII.
