Bio

Seifer Almasy
Age: 18

About (No Spoilers)

     Seifer is a strong character and his skills in battle make him a strong fighter but his large ego ends up costing him his rights to join SeeD like the others.  He also trains in Balamb Garden and considers Squall to be his main rival and sworn enemy and he holds a long-standing grudge against him throughout the game.  Seifer is more bully-like and likes to boss people around and he likes to show off at times too.

Major Relations

     Seifer also has two friends named Fujin and Raijin who follow his every command and are loyal to him till the very end.  All three of them were bullies in Balamb Garden and they are allied together in fighting for the Sorceress and Galbadia.  Also, Seifer has a long and heated rivalry with Squall and he also likes to pick on Zell for the most part.  Later on, he is under the influence of the Sorceress and becomes her protector.

Character Developments (Spoilers)

     After failing to join the elite ranks of SeeD, Seifer still continues his normal ways of life in Balamb Garden until later on, he tries doing things on his own and later on gets convinced by Sorceress Edea to join her cause.  Seifer, unable to break free from the Sorceress’ influence then vows to protect her at any costs, even if it means going through Squall and the other SeeDs.  Seifer’s main intention in the game has been to get revenge on Squall and defeat him in battle one day.

Review

     Even though Seifer appears to be the main villain of the game early on, he actually isn’t really that evil of a character as he is more of a troublemaker and his stubbornness causes him to act like one.  Once under the influence of the Sorceress, Seifer then begins to blindly follow her every command and later on, his friends Fujin and Raijin oppose him.  But ultimately, Seifer wants total revenge on Squall most of all and will stop at nothing to defeat him in battle.

Weapons

     While only a temporary character in your party, Seifer still can do Limit Breaks although most of the time they are quite random.  They are considered strong and most of Seifer’s Limit attacks are Fire-elemental and most of them are quite cool-looking in my view.  Watch out for Seifer’s Limits though as they are extremely deadly at times and work fairly well against your party during the times you fight against him.
