About (No Spoilers)

     As the last surviving member of an ancient race of Summoners, Eiko is a lonely little girl and has only a group of moogles to keep her company in her village.  She is quite a brave girl and she hopes never to be alone again and later on in the game, she gets caught up in a love triangle between Zidane, herself and Garnet.  She does have an attitude sometimes but has similar abilities to Garnet and can summon eidolons as well.

Major Relations

     Eiko does seem to have an interest in Zidane and she is deeply attracted to him as well.  However, Eiko does happen to have strong ties with the moogles living in her home village as well as Princess Garnet.  Besides this, she doesn’t have strong relations with the other characters in the game.

Character Developments (Spoilers)

     While Eiko lives alone with a group of moogles in her home village of Madain Sari, she is quite responsible for her age and knows how to take care of herself quite well.  Eiko does have an attitude at times and seems somewhat bossy but throughout the game, she vows never to be alone again and is willing to be in the company of others.  She is the last surviving member of her Summoning tribe and she has the ability to summon eidolons much like Garnet.  Later on, it is revealed that Garnet was actually a member of Eiko’s summoning tribe long ago and that she was adopted by Queen Brahne.

Review

     While Eiko does vow never to be alone again, she does prefer the company of others and she is a fairy bossy character.  However, she is responsible and is quite capable of taking care of herself and she plays a relatively minor role in the game.  She does have the ability to summon eidolons much like Garnet and she joins up with Zidane and the others after meeting them during their journey.  Eiko secretly likes Zidane, thus, building a love triangle between herself, Zidane and Garnet in particular.

Weapons/Armor/Accessories

     Eiko can equip similar weapons like Garnet for the most part as well as equip Flutes to use as weapons in battle.  She can also equip light armor and her physical attack is fairly weak, but she can cast White Magic like Garnet plus summon useful eidolons as well.  Pretty much the same as Garnet in terms of battle usefulness though.
