About (No Spoilers)

     Quina is a member of the Qu Clan and lives around on various Qu marshes around the world of Gaia.  Quina loves to eat and eventually joins up with Zidane and the others in search of other exotic foods around the world.  Quina lacks in terms of personality, Quina follows the others along for the ride.

Major Relations

     Quina doesn’t have any major ties with any of the characters of the game except for his tribe master and he has some connection to Vivi supposedly.  Later on in the game, it is revealed that Vivi’s grandfather is a member of Quina’s tribe and other than this, Quina mainly joins up the others for the search of exotic foods so there isn’t much to say in terms of friends for Quina.

Character Developments (Spoilers)

     For the most part, Quina lacks in terms of personality and doesn’t have much to offer in terms of the storyline except for the fact that Quina tags along with the others on the order of his master of the clan.  Quina likes to eat frogs especially and other foods and Quina’s main purpose on the adventure is to search around and taste exotic foods around the world.  While an unstable character, Quina is still helpful in certain situations however.

Review

     While Quina plays a very minor role in the storyline, Quina is useful in battle and can wield some interesting Blue Magic abilities for the good of the party.  Quina is merely a “tag-along” character with little personality or motive to joining Zidane’s cause to stop Queen Brahne from world domination.  Quina is quite interested in food for the most part and he/she is a weird character as well.  More used for comedy relief in my view, however.

Weapons/ArmorAccessories

     A decent character to use in battle, Quina can equip forks to engage in combat and he can equip light armor for the most part.  Although his defense isn’t that great, he is a good physical attack and can eat up enemies to learn useful Blue Magic abilities.
