Delita Hyral

     Regarded by many as the true “hero” of the Lion War, he perceives himself as the people’s hero and his sister died at the hands of a manipulative plot. After this tragic event, Delita vows to never be manipulated again but he plans on manipulating others for revenge and for his own ambitions. He manipulates a lot of people to eventually make his way to becoming the eventual King and ruler of Ivalice. Delita eventually uses Ovelia for his own reasons and falls in love with her and double-crosses Prince Goltana and the Church as the game goes on. He does still let Ramza and his friends live so they can destroy the Zodiac Braves to make Delita become King himself. Born to a poor family, Delita rose up the ranks of the Hokuten Cadets and became very good friends with Ramza and eventually he marries Ovelia and becomes King of Ivalice. While historical records account him as the true hero of the Lion War, his ambitions and motives far exceed the accepted truth. Delita ends up stabbing Ovelia and kills her after foiling her assassination attempt at the end of the game.
