Malak Galthana
Very dedicated and respectful towards Grand Duke Barinten, his adoptive father and Malak is an orphan of the fifty-years war. His sister, Rafa believes that Barinten is responsible for the burning and destruction of their village after failing to obtain their Heaven/Hell Knight skills. After Rafa eventually confronts Barinten at the roof of Riovanes Castle, he overhears something about Barinten raping Rafa in the past and demands if this is true. Barinten fires a bullet at Rafa but Malak dives and sacrifices himself for his sister. Rafa revives Malak using one of the Holy Stones and Malak then willingly joins Ramza and Rafa on their journey to defeat the Zodiac Braves.
