Ciel, Parting With The Chocobo Episode 11
"Demonic flowers, blooming in a mansion. Malice and memories that have been
brought forth. Please don't forget! A pure white heart that chases you, even
in dreams. It's feelings will surely reach the sky. Soaring over the light
of destruction, it will fly to the faraway sky."

We open with the subway, and a long climb up the winding stairs that leads
our heroes into great open plains. At first they seem deserted, until Chobi
seems interested in something, they all look to the horizon, and with a
round of 'kwehs' a herd/flock of chocobos runs towards them. Ai is not
pleased.
As they watch, however, they see a familiar mushroom monster chasing the
herd. Lisa tells the Twins to run as the herd flies past them, and whips out
some kigenjutsu on the monster. It falls, and as they prepare to run('cause
Lisa can't actually kill anything, no) the chocobos move in for the kill.
Amidst a cloud of dust raised by kicking, the birds peck the monster to
death. After the shock wears off that a flock of birds is more effective
than them, Ai congratulates Chobi, who attacks her hair in glee. Then, who
should appear but the younger sister of our annoying friend Chocobaba;
Chocoimo.
She thinks Chobi's pretty handsome, and ends all her sentences with "...or
something like that." They all hang out
through the day, with Chobi making friends with the other birdies(especially
a little red one), and the chocobos taking turns throwing Ai around by her
hair. Yu is making friends with most of the flock as well, and Lisa is
asking Chocoimo about the kids parents, and some other bits of information
they need to know. Apparently, Chocoimo doesn't know a lot. She does know
that there are lots of monsters running around in the Inner World causing
her and everyone else problems(and we really needed her to tell us that one.
Thanks, Choco-Granny, thanks).
As Lisa decides its time to go, Chocoimo mentions Omega(she does know
something after all), but then she runs off before telling them anything
else. Lisa and the Twins try to talk about Omega, but Chocoimo reappears
behind them, lamenting the loss of Ciel, a legendary chocobo. At that
moment, Chobi tells Yu the subway is leaving. As the two groups go their
separate ways, Chobi hesitates. He wants to follow the herd and that little
red chocobo. Yu, being the kind hearted little boy he is, tells Chobi to go.
On a depressing subway ride later, they find themselves above ground, and
wonder where the top half of the tunnel has gone to. As they stand at the
station, a piece of Omega appears, and they realize it has been destroying
even the landscape around it. As it approaches, Lisa grabs the kids and
dragoon jumps to what's left of a cliff side, narrowly avoiding death. The
subway plummets into the earth. Omega renews its attack, and the heroes are
thrown apart. Yu lands away from Lisa and Ai, not looking too good. Above
them, they see Kaze, and Ai pleads with him to save Yu. He doesn't even seem
to be listening, rather, he stares at his Demon Gun.
Far away, at the Ciel Chocobo ruins, Chobi seems to sense Yu is in trouble.
Chobi, being himself, waltzes up to the ruin and puts his foot on it. A
blinding light appears, and the scene switches back to the Twins. As Omega
attacks, something shoots down and lifts Yu out of harms way. It's Chobi,
all powered up nicely. Apparently, all being the Ciel chocobo does is allow
him to fly though. So they look to Kaze once again for help, and he's
willing to give it this time. Chobi grabs the group and flies to safety, as
Kaze's rescues often take out plenty of the surrounding landscape.
The Demon Gun moves, and the awesome power of Titan is pitted against Omega.
As they fight, the subway reappears, and Chobi takes the heroes to it,
leaving Kaze with his summon and a big explosion. On the subway, Ai makes
fun of Chobi's inability to fly until now, gets chomped, and Yu and Lisa
discuss Kaze's habits of living through anything. Chobi has decided that
they get into so much trouble, he can't leave them quite yet, and Yu is
happy again.
