Meteor, Abominable Memory Episode 13
Pre-Prophecy: "The gathered legends. The battle between ambition and honor.
The drifting soul, and his abandoned homeland, are both tools for fighting.
Why is he here? Why...for who's sake? And, the fate of the wandering ones
is..."

When we left off, Kaze had been thrown across the landscape by Hungus.
Looking for him, Hungus offers to let him live if Kaze will serve The Count.
Unnoticed, The Twins and Lisa fly around in the sky, surveying the fight. Ai
wants to leave, but Yu feels they should stay until the end of the fight. At
this point, Lisa tells them to get to a safe place, and leaps from the
Chocobo's back, intent on finding and helping Kaze. She sends out a wave of
kigenjutsu that sets off the spores, clouding the air and Hungus's sight,
and frantically searches for Kaze.
Hungus responds by sending bombs into the air and ground. Dodging the bombs,
Ai, Yu and Chobi are caught by the giant Hungus. Finding Kaze, Hungus taunts
him further, while Lisa screams over the children's predicament. She tries
to stop Kaze from shooting at Hungus, but when Kaze wants to shoot
something, he will(gotta love that stubborness, 'if I keep shooting, it HAS
to die at some point'). It had no effect(surprise), and Lisa and Kaze are
pulled into the ground.
Up in Gaudium, The Count is watching Hungus's progress on his little screen
thingy, and he's impressed. Pisto's a
bit put out that it seemed so simple, and even Oscar seems a bit impressed.
Shiroi floats down from his haunt near the ceiling and makes to leave. Oscar
questions him, and Shiroi says he's going to search for Omega(which we all
know he's not).
Below ground, in a cavern full of spores, Lisa awakens. She spots Kaze
nearby, and begs him to help her. Really begs, and gets frustrated, starts
crying, and asks why he never answers her. She grabs his hand, and he falls
into a memory. This time there's more color, and we get to see the woman in
his memories more clearly. She's saying something, but we can't quite hear
it... Lisa is still yelling at him as he comes back to reality. She
collapses in tears, and the cavern fills with a familiar mist.
Kaze pulls out his gun just as Lisa leaps backward and Shiroi puts his sword
dangerously close to Kaze's throat. Caught in a stalemate, they briefly
talk. Shiroi tells him to stay asleep, and talks about a battle that even
now is preventing Kaze from firing his Demon Gun. He pulls his sword away,
deeming Kaze pitiful. Kaze seizes the moment and shoots, they fly to
opposite ends of the
cavern. Shiroi explains to them that the spores in the cavern will eat away
at their bodies, and soon they won't be able to move. He prepares to attack,
for Kaze's "own good" as he puts it. Kaze shoots the mist bottle out of the
air as it is thrown, and Shiroi comes at him in a brutal rush instead.
Naturally, it causes a huge explosion.

Hungus has the Twins and Chobi held prisoner in his ship. Ai is in a good
argument about order and such, while Hungus defends The Count and Chaos's
right to rule the Inner World. Gradually, while thinking over his home
world's death, Hungus grows more ambitious, saying he will one day rule the
Inner World instead of The Count. The explosion from below ground blows out
a chunk of the surface, and Shiroi cuts away a chunk of Hungus's ship so
they can have a little chat. He tells Hungus that Kaze is still alive, and
he's leaving it to Hungus, then leaves to watch the outcome of this fight.
Hungus grows back into a giant, destroying his ship, and faces the
battlefield armed with a club to which The Twins and Chobi are tied. Nearby,
Crux watches, holding a bag. She flies over the terrain, sprinkling a black
powder as Kaze reappears. Hungus threatens to kill the kids, and Lisa flips
out again. Suddenly, the black powder(a mold) begins to spread. Horrified,
Hungus watches his world crumble as the blackness covers him as well. As
Hungus screams in defiance of the nightmare, Kaze remembers more about his
own world's destruction. The club crumbles, The Twins fall, and Chobi
rescues the heroes, grabbing Lisa as well.
The Demon Gun moves as Hungus moves in for the kill. Promising an end to the
nightmares, Kaze summons the
meteo master, who rains fiery destruction upon Hungus and his crumbling
world. Dying, Hungus declares that Kaze must be unlimited, and that he was
grateful that Kaze was his last opponent, and also grateful to finally die
and find peace. At Gaudium, The Count is very full, and very pleased, as are
his other Deathlords. Chaos is doing well. Apparently they wanted this to
happen, as Hungus was getting just a bit too over ambitious, and they
couldn't have that. That and all the other Deathlords are practically giddy
over the loss of Hungus.
Above the destruction, Lisa and The Twins are grateful to be alive, and
worry about Kaze.
